Today has been a day of rest from running. I did manage to do my shin exercises... let’s face it, three sets at 30 seconds each, who couldn’t do that?
The rest of the day was spent working around the house, chatting with friends online, and catching up on reading all the blogs on the Blogathon 2013 list… well, I didn’t get to all of them.
On a serious note: for those of you who believe in the power of prayer, I have a special request. The daughter of a friend and co-worker suffered a brain aneurysm on Monday. She is 13 years old, a cheerleader, straight A Honor student, and just a great all-around person. She is in critical condition at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Atlanta; but her condition is improving. Please join with others every night at 9:00 PM to pray for Madison’s recovery. We plan to continue this prayer vigil until she has fully recovered.
You just never know what life is going to throw at you. But you can choose how to deal with it. God Bless.
